We are lacking role models for our Hispanics youth.
English is not their primary language.
Economics plays a role in the lack of academic preparation.

Problem Statement
The great majority of Hispanic students are living in a bicultural environment that does not ensure them the highest possibility of academic or economic success.

Our Purpose
Our main concern is to close the disparity between the scientific/technological preparation of Hispanic children and average U.S. children.
Our Solution
We have created an educational program for kids by kids for our Hispanic children. By doing this we can motivate our Hispanic youth to pursue careers in technological and science oriented fields.
Our Audience
Intended Audience:
Hispanic youth of elementary and middle school ages and their families
Intended language:
Spanish
Current Status
Currently we are working with children from Charles R. Hadley Elementary School.
Our Discoveries
We have noticed that the children that we are working with have become interested in engineering, mathematics, science, and computers.
Activities
The Children have been involved in discovering rocket cars, pyramids, the solar system, Tangrams, Newton’s Laws, Energy, and many other math and science oriented activities.
Some of our children went to Kennedy Space Center for filming and learning.
Conclusions
We believe that if this program becomes available to the general Hispanic community, their children will also become interested in these fields.
