STANDARDS

The Office of Internal Audit (OIA) has adopted the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing established by the Institute of Internal Auditors. These standards govern all activities of the FIU OIA, except investigations. The Standards for Investigators established by the Governor's Council on Integrity and Efficiency is utilized for investigations.
