ASME Regional Student Conference, RSC 2001



ASME RSC 2001 - West Palm Gardens, Florida


The 2001 RSC was held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, April 5-6-7, 2001. An FIU student delegation attended this conference. Julian Bedoya
received the Best Second Place Award in Oral Presentation competition. Congratulations Julian!!! Here is the list of FIU competitors:

As Ana, Julian, Jorge and Majidah get ready for a new session.

Julian is ready to make his presentation on Micro Air Vehicles as a participant in the Oral Presenation Competition.

He is actually having fun while he gives his talk. By the way, this presentation received the Best Second Presentation Award in ASME Region XI which includes southeastern states of the US.

Fred Moscoso gave a very good presentation on Formula Racecar Design. He also seemed relaxed during his presentation and recieved positive comments afterwards.

Jorge Sotelo particiapted with his poster on Position Sensors and received an ASME certificate of appreciation for his successful participation in the competition.

Eduardo Ampuero also participated with a poster design on Battlebot Robots and received a certifficate of appreciation from ASME for his effort.
