ASME FIU Student Section gave a luncheon to conference committee members at Olive Garden on Friday, April 25, 2003. It was a great get-together right after the finals at FIU. We had many things to celebrate:

• Jordi Blanch just defended his MS thesis and today turned in his final manuscript to the Graduate School. He is now M.S.B.S.M.E. Jordi Blanch... Congratulations Jordi!!!

• Also, today Sara Lyons de Paula, Jairo Laing, Hernan Rodriguez and Angel Cano presented their Senior Design Project based on ASME HPD Design entitled: "The Golden Panther: A Human Powered Vehicle." They are graduating this semester. Congratulations to the entire team!!!

• Mirella Evasani has been elected Vice Chair at UM's ASME Student Section. Tiina Aardemea has now become the new Chair, Chris Gratz Treasurer, and Vincent Modelli the new Ingersoll Rand Rep. Congratulations to the new UM Officers!!!
