BS2 MICROCONTROLLER AND PBASIC LANGUAGE
Boe-Bot Mobile Platform Manual (310 Pages, 4.4 MB, Version 3.0)
Boe-Bot Mobile Platform Manual (360 Pages, 4.4 MB, Version 2.2)
Basic Stamp Reference Book for Advanced Users (504 Pages, 5.3 MB, Version 2.2)
Basic Stamp Microcontroller EDITOR (Executable file, 17.4 MB, Version 2.5)
Note: Need to execute the file after download to install the editor.
Programs can be developed, but will not run without connecting to a Basic Stamp Board. A Basic Stamp Board will be
available in the Robotics and Automation Lab, EC 3435.
Basic Stamp Microcontroller SIMULATOR (Compressed rar file, 26 MB)
Note: Need to extract the executable file from the rar file, and then run it to install the program on your computer.
A text file gives instructions to run the program. This program allows you to assign the BS2 pins to various servos and sensors
as you wish. You can then run your PBasic program on your computer without needing the BS2 board physically attached to the computer.
This simulation software animates the resulting servo actions on the screen. Note that this animation is not for the entire Boe-Bot
platform; only the servo motion is shown. It is a useful tool to set up BS2 board pin assignments and then to check the validity of
simple PBasic program instructions (such as the servo commands) without needing any hardware.
