Dr. Chunlei (Peggy) Wang (Ph.D. ’97 – Jilin Univ., P.R. China) is an expert in materials science, specifically in CVD diamond growth, carboneous materials, Si processing, GaN based LED, advanced packaging, MEMS, carbon-MEMS/ NEMS, 3D microbatteries, nanoscale materials, biosensors, conductive polymers and drug delivery. She published 1 book chapter, 48 journal papers, 22 conference papers and had 55 conference presentations. She worked as a Lecturer at Jilin University (’95-’01), a Research Associate at Osaka University (’98-’01), and as a postdoctoral fellow and Assistant Researcher at University of California at Irvine (’01-’06). Dr. Wang was also recipient of a Japanese Government (MONBUSHO) Scholarship (’95-’97).

Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology

The Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET) accredits engineering programs on a nationwide basis. Students wishing more information about accreditation should consult their respective departmental office or the Office of the Dean. The following baccalaureate engineering programs in the college are accredited by ABET, Inc., Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
