Dr. Giachetti is an Associate Professor at Florida International 

University in the department of Industrial and Systems 

Engineering.  Dr. Giachetti received his Ph.D. in Industrial 

Engineering in 1996 at North Carolina State University.  He 

received his masters in Manufacturing Engineering at 

Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York.  He has served 

at FIU since Fall 1998.
