Areas of Interest: Discrete Simulation, Operations Research, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence technologies for the development of software for simulation modeling 

  • She received her Ph.D. from Texas A & M  University in 1990.

  • She has been with the ISE department since 1993, and in 1997 she became an associate professor.

  • She has been principal investigator in several NASA projects, and she has been a visiting researcher at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida
