Access Grid
  Collaborative Cyberinfrastructure Environments are available to Faculty and researcher currently working on funded research with State and federal agencies and university that are connected to Internet 2 and have the proper AccessGrid enabled environment.

  This map shows all nodes that are currently registered in the AG Node Listings on accessgrid.org which include location information. For more information on a particular node, click on its map marker.

Important Account Information
  The following are services that an EIC account offers you.
Laptop Loaner Program
 

Laptop computers are available for checkout to any Engineering and Computing Faculty and Students in good standing currently enrolled or teaching in a College of Engineering and Computing course.
NOVELL Netstorage
  This service allow the user to have secure access to their network drives in the FIU Engineering Center. Secure-Encrytped Connection
Printers
  This service allows the user to " add printer" to their FIU Computer through NOVELL i-Print client
<empty> Poster Printing
  EIC has now the capability of printing large posters up to 34 inch in width.
(Remote Access) Accessing Your Data from Home
 

Your data folder (H drive as well as other shared drives) may be accessed remotely)

Clean Access Wireless Network
  The College of Engineering and Computing has a wireless network consisting of more than 20 access points located throughout the EC building for an easy and convenient way to connect your wireless laptop
   
  In order to log-in to the new FIU wireless network you will need to authenticate your connection using the same log-in (username and password) that you use for the FIU Webmail system ( https://webmail.fiu.edu/).
