Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to gain insight into the behavior of the popular electronic device and systems

and design the practical amplifier and special purpose system and study their response.  Also, emphasis

will be given on the stability considerations of the designed electronic systems, differential and instrumentation

amplifiers and feedback systems.  In addition, frequency response of the systems will be studied and

appropriate systems will be implemented.

By completing this course, the students will learn to

Ø      Evaluate the characteristics of Electronic devices and systems;

Ø      Characterize the response of systems with different devices;

Ø      Design, simulate, evaluate Electronic Amplifier Systems;

Ø      Analyze the Feedback concepts and implement them;

Ø      Design, develop and implement Electronic Instrumentation Systems;

Ø      Design, develop, and implement Frequency Dependent Systems;

Ø      Integrate, characterize, cost analyze industry oriented Electronic Systems;

Policies

Ø      Attendance and reading: Attendance is required, showing the class participation.  The students

         are responsible for all the materials covered in the class.  All assignments are expected to be

         completed by the students

Ø      Academic conduct:  As per ABET, any evidence of cheating and plagiarism will result in failing

          grade.  We are expected to maintain highest level of ethical standards.

Ø      Examinations and grading:  The following tentative schedule will be followed for the course grade:
