Dr.
Tadeusz M. Babij received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical
Engineering from Technical University of Wroclaw, Poland,
in 1958 and 1968, respectively. In 1984, Dr. Babij joined
FIU. Prior to that he was a Visiting Scientist for the measurement
and analysis of electromagnetic area in the National Bureau
of Standards, Boulder, Colorado, in 1973-74, and at the Bureau
of Radiological Health, Food and Drug Administration, Rockville,
Maryland, in 1979-82.
His current research includes probes for near field measurements, high-speed
digital microprobing, and electromagnetic wave interaction with human bodies.
He is the author or co-author of more than 130 international papers and
conference reports on EMC measurements and antenna topics, co-author of
2 books and holds 23 patents in the field.
