How do I access my courses?
You can access your course by opening
your web browser and going to the WebCT
welcome page at http://webct.fiu.edu.
Go to WebCT Login, select
Engineering and click on GO! Enter you
WebCT ID and password and then click on
the Log in button. You will be taken to
your personal area of WebCT called My
WebCT. Click on the course you wish to
enter.
How do I obtain my username and password?
Your WebCT ID is your Panther ID. If you
do not know your Panther ID, please go to the PantherSoft home page
at http://panthersoft.fiu.edu and click on PantherID Lookup .
The default password is your date of birth, input as MMDDYYYY. The first
time you log into WebCT, you will be required to change your password.
How will I communicate with my instructor?
Please check your syllabus for your professor's preferred communication
method.
How do I submit assignments?
It depends on the professor. Excel, Word, or PowerPoint files can be sent
as attachments using Panther ID e-mail or through personal e-mail. Check
the course syllabus or consult with your instructor for more information
about how to submit assignments.
How do I take exams?
Exams and quizzes will be made available
to students online. However, please check your course
syllabus for exam policies.
What if I have questions with the course or course materials?
If you have an academic question, or if your question is specific to the
course you are taking, you should consult your instructor.
