Technology Transfer and Training |
|
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at FIU is proud to offer a variety of technology transfer and training opportunities for professionals through its extension arm; Center for Technology Transfer and Training (CT3).
The mission of CT3 is to provide training and information to assist professionals in public or private sectors, in particular those engaged in public works and highway or transportation projects. CT3 helps facilitate and accelerate technology transfer from research to practice; promotes collaboration between researchers and the industry; and assists in the growth and economic development of South Florida companies by enhancing technological leadership. In addition to the following structured programs, we can help design a unique on-site training program based on the needs of an individual company.
