For the fourth time in the last five years, our Student Chapter of the Institute of Transportation of Engineers (ITE) has been selected as the best chapter internationally for its outstanding activities and achievements. The chapter will be presented the award at the upcoming ITE Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California, August 17-20, 2008.

With five best chapter awards over the last eight years, the chapter now ties Texas A&M University (TAMU) for the most number of chapter awards won.
