Both Bachelor’s Programs Received Full ABET Accreditation

Our B.S. in Civil Engineering program has re-accredited by the Engineer Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc., 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700. ABET is the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. ABET accreditation demonstrates a program’s commitment to providing its students with a quality education.

Our B.S. in Environmental Engineering program, which was established three years ago in 2006, also received it first-time accreditation. This accreditation is retroactive to October 2006.

This success is the result of the hard work and dedicated effort by our faculty, staff, students, alumni, the Department Advisory Board, and Department Industry Advisory Council, with the string support of the college, university, our industry partners, and our communities.
