Teaching Assistantships

The Department offers about 10 graduate teaching assistantships each year to highly qualified doctoral students. These assistantships include over $15,000 of annual stipend plus a full tuition waiver for the first year. Depending on performance and research fund availability, the students may continue on a graduate research assistantship for the remaining years of their doctoral study. Applicants who are interested in receiving one of these assistantship should indicate so in their statement of objectives.
