| For the past 20 years, an explosion in
computer technology has caused nearly every
aspect of our lives to be driven by a computer.
With the increasing need for computers and
systems to interact efficiently, a new wave
of technology is expected to continue and
accelerate this trend into the future. Professionals
whose knowledge integrates expertise from
both the electrical engineering and computer
science fields will be in high demand. Computer
engineers meet this demand by combining expertise
in low-level software, high-level hardware
and integrated system design. |

| |
| The Bachelor
of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering provides emphasis toward engineering concepts and
design in the varied and rapidly expanding fields
of computer engineering. Upper level coursework
includes software programming and engineering,
circuits analysis and computer design. The program
is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation
Commission (EAC) of ABET. |
