| The Access Grid Virtual Institute at
Florida International University (FIU) in
collaboration with the Minority Serving
Insitution Network offers fully collaborative
AccessGrid enabled lectures, workshops, and
presentations which are designed to give the
scientist, engineer, and student an understanding
of how cyberinfrastructure resources are utilized
in Engineering and Computing; and to simultaneously
stimulate and develop funded proposals, creative
thinking, a professional attitude, economic
judgment and environmental consciousness.
The aim is to develop the professional's potential
to the fullest, to prepare the professional
for superior performance in collaborative
technologies and their use in research, education,
grant preparation, and outreach. |
