Engaging People in Cyberinfrastructure
with Stephenie
McLean of the Renaissance Computing Institute,
Roscoe Giles of Boston University and Greg
Moses of University of Wisconsin at Madison.

AGVI will engage various disciplines and
people across the nation and the world in
how specific discipline including Tissue
Engineering, Mechanical and Materials Engineering,
Diversity in Computing, Neurosciences, Visualization,
Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical
Engineering, Biology, Humanities, Psychology,
High Energy Physics, Astronomy, Grid Computing, and
Information Technology, are utilizing cyberinfrastructure
in Research and Development, Education and
Learning, Dissemination of scholarly activities,
establishing new partnerships, and overall
Academic Globalization. |

administrators to share resources, access instruments
and data, and collaborate in educational and
research environments in ways that they never
have before. The Goal
of the AGVI is to educate and mentor
Minority Serving Institutions, Majority
Institutions, and the Private Sector, in
emerging areas of multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional,
collaboration in order to minimize the digital
divide
and allow them to participate and contribute
in National Cyberinfrastructure, Visualization,
Grid, and Computational Efforts. |
