EPIC - Engaging People in Cyberinfrastructure
The Minority Serving Institution Network Conference will be taking place November 17, 2005 in Seattle, Washington.

Program Overview
The purpose of MSI Seminar is to increase the participation and engage minorities in Cyberinfrastructure efforts by providing Lectures, Presentations, and tutorials to help faculty, students, and/or IT professionals from Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) - Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). It is our intention in facilitating, coordinating, and deploying the MSI seminar is to improve our ability to reach groups that have traditionally not had access to high performance computing and Cyberinfrastructure.

The intended impact of the EPIC MSI Seminar is to foster collaborative relationships between faculty at MSIs and research scientists at major research centers and impacting the amount and quality of education at MSIs.

MSI Seminars on Thursday, November 17th.

The MSI Seminars are hosted in part by the Engaging People in Cyberinfrastructure grant funded by NSF and by the MSI Network. We are holding this day-long event as part of SC so that MSIs can showcase their research and learn what others are doing at their home institutions. It is our aim that these seminars will stimulate collaboration. Here is what the schedule looks like so far.
