The Future Aerospace
Science and Technology Centers mission
at Florida International University is to
research,
develop, test and implement technology
to assist the Air Force Office of Scientific
Research in producing the next generation
of space-based communication and intelligence
platforms. Florida International
University received a $3.6 million
dollar grant from AFOSR to establish the FAST
Center. The project enhances the University's
ability
to provide a high quality scientific educational
experience with relevant research involvement
to local students.
